MIDI CUTLERY TRIO WITH NAPKIN: FOR CANTEENS AND FAST FOOD RESTAURANTS

This cutlery set ideal for canteens, fast food restaurants and general take-away consists of a fork, knife and spoon in ivory white estabio material and white paper napkin, all enclosed in a biodegradable PLA packaging.
The cutlery is 16.5 cm long and can withstand up to +70°C; the 2-ply napkin measures 33x33 cm and is 1/8 folded.

MIDI CUTLERY TRIO WITH NAPKIN: THE ESTABIO

It is a new type of biodegradable and compostable bioplastic, composed of a blend of linear polyesters, obtained from biodegradable raw materials.
It is a 100% Italian, environmentally friendly-so-called eco-friendly material that can be composted in 90 days in industrial plant.
It has high heat resistance, excellent physical and mechanical properties, is completely odorless (does not change the natural taste of food and beverages) and possesses extreme versatility in processing.
In compliance with recent European regulations, the introduction of compostable products maximizes the success of single-use with zero environmental impact.
The biopolymer used is certified according to the international standard UNI EN 13432, which defines the characteristics of a compostable material.

MIDI CUTLERY TRIO WITH NAPKIN: PACK IN PLA

Not only the cutlery but also the packaging is made of biodegradable material to maintain 100% consistency while being environmentally friendly.
The wrap is made of PLA, a biodegradable and compostable bioplastic.
PLA stands for polyactic acid or, more correctly, poly lactic acid or polylactate, and is the polymer of lactic acid. It is made from corn starch, and is 100% biodegradable and compostable according to EN13432.
PLA becomes biodegradable upon hydrolysis at temperature greater than 60°C and humidity greater than 20%. If it is abandoned in the environment, it has an average life span of 1 to 4 years.
