THERMIC GLASS
Borosilicate glass is a material that is highly resistant to washing and temperature changes. The vacuum created in the cavity between the two walls allows thermal insulation of the food or liquid contained inside and prevents the formation of condensation on the outside of the container. The thermal property of the double wall makes the collection particularly suitable for use in buffets as well.During the production of the single model of Luigi Bormioli's thermal line, a small hole is left at the outer base. The item, produced by hand, is then taken up, sucking in the air and closing the hole. The presence of a small screw under the base of the container is due to the temperature difference between the glass being cooled and the drop of glass to close the hole.
