The Calabrese Urban Bar Martini Cup in clear glass is widely used for the increasingly in vogue drink tasting, that is, serving half-doses in bars. The idea is not only to offer smaller quantities to try more, but also to bring back in vogue the cocktail dosages of the early 20th century.
ROBUSTNESS AND STRENGTH
Keeping the dosages lower makes it easier to do food pairing, that is, to match each dish with its drink. The glass used for the Martini Urban Bar Cup is exceptionally sturdy, even in the face of temperature changes; its understated but attractive design and light reflections, and not least the prestigious Salvatore Calabrese signature, allow for an unforgettable presentation of the immortal Martini cocktail. In packs of 6 and exceptional value for money.
A BIT OF HISTORY
The origin of the name of the cup is disputed, but it always revolves around the very famous drink. According to one of the most credited versions, it would be the name of the Italian bartender who first, in London in 1912, prepared it for John D. Rockefeller; for another it would be Jerry Thomas, in the 1950s, who invented it to relieve a miner's stomachache on the road to Martinez (California); according to yet another, it would have something to do with the Italian vermouth of the same name.Taste the story...in, and thanks to, the Calabrese Urban Bar Martini Cup!
