RIEDEL BAR: FUNCTIONALE & STILISH
RIEDEL BAR consists of fashionable and functional stemware specially designed for the professional tasting of spirits and liqueurs, whose aromaticity and taste characteristics they enhance while counteracting their alcoholic aggressiveness. RIEDEL's approach to developing stemware shapes for spirits and liqueurs is the same as that adopted for wine glasses. The RIEDEL Bar collection stems from the tasting experience of sommeliers and professionals, who have determined the specific goblets for internationally renowned spirits, liqueurs and fortified wines, improving their taste-olfactory sensations and preventing the alcohol component from dominating and suffocating the nuances obtained in the distillation process.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
- All RIEDEL goblets and glasses are dishwasher safe. RIEDEL recommends only MIELE.
- Arrange stemware and glasses well away from other glass or metal products to prevent chipping during the wash cycle. Whenever possible, make use of the appropriate basket.
- To avoid fogging, check the hardness of the water, which should be low in mineral salts.
- Remove any fingerprints or stains with white vinegar.
- Wash the glass under warm water (use a detergent and rinse the glass thoroughly).
- Use two polishing cloths to polish the glass; never hold the glass by the base to polish the goblet.
- Polish the goblets using two dryers: one for each hand. When polishing the cup, avoid holding the chalice by the base because the stem may break.
- Stem breakage occurs due to mishandling = bending torque or pressure on the stem.
- When storing goblets, places with strong odors that could transfer to the goblet and alter the aroma of the wine should be avoided.
- Wash glass towels in boiling water with mild soap to remove bacteria.
- Never use a fabric softener to rinse the microfiber cloth (prevents grease from forming on the surface).
