SMOOTH ICONIC NATURAL BROWN COCONUT BOWL: CARE AND HANDLING

It is certainly tempting to fill the coconut bowl with steaming noodles or freshly cooked ramen soup, but it is not ideal! In fact, if you want it to last longer, it is wise to avoid filling it with hot food that could damage it, so the maximum temperature accepted inside is about forty degrees centigrade. Since they are made of 100% natural coconut shell, at a higher temperature the bowl could crack, break or be irreparably damaged.

Another recommendation is NOT to put the bowl in the dishwasher, as the high water temperature is likely to ruin or shorten its life cycle; instead, use a mild soap and a sponge that is not too abrasive.

Whatever its temperature, another thing to take note of is that you should never leave coconut objects soaking in water. In fact, the wood will swell, ruining the product's shape and performance.
