In ancient Hawaiian traditions, Kanaloa is a god symbolizing squid or octopus. Once again, a symbol typical of distant and mysterious oceanic culture has been chosen for a tiki mug.
This pattern, with its colors tending toward brown, appears to have been carved directly into the rock.
THE TIKI STYLE.
By tiki style we mean that way of making and presenting drinks in the clubs of often gray and dreary cities and metropolises. The excellent presentation during the long cold seasons, to bring back the color, flavor and cheerfulness of the sea. An original way to think of summer, warm weather and tropical paradises full of exotic fruits, palm trees, floral shirts, paper parasols and frangipani crowns around the neck.Tiki is a style that thrills and cheers. An original way to serve cocktails, perhaps pairing them with stories of faraway lands.
