Treat it well, it takes little
Little by little a natural patina will form that will enhance its beauty, softening the already gentle lines. To maintain this look:
- Lightly dab the surface of the object with denatured alcohol to remove any marks.
- Gently wipe the product with a soft cloth
If you prefer the shinier appearance :
- use a metal polishing paste and to remove stains use 0000 grade extra-fine steel wool.
- In the case of scratches, utlizzare a lightly abrasive paste, such as that used to polish automotive cars.
Very important and to remember:
- Pewter needs to be washed well before first use.
- wash it with lukewarm water and a mild detergent
- should not be allowed to sit in water that is too hot,
- dry it as soon as possible.
- Avoid washing in the dishwasher
