The glassworks of Borgonovo was founded in 1950 with headquarters in the province of Piacenza. Between the decades '50s and '60s, production gradually passed from manual to semiautomatic until complete automation. In the '90s and until today, the company has progressed, allowing it to develop very quickly and become a world leader in the production of glass.
