This product is made for extended use. Molybdenum-Vanadium martensitic stainless steel blade, and to improve its quality, produced with a hardness of 53-56 HRc.The stainless steel used for the production of this line is exclusive and named NITRUM®.
The handle used for this line is of an ERGONOMIC AND REVOLUTIONARY type, and is composed of a hard core of Polypropylene (PP) that is located inside the handle; then a covering is made with a special rubber. This mixture of materials allows great comfort and adaptability to use, is non-slip, and is also an anti-hygroscopic material (does not absorb liquids), and resistant to high temperatures.
Each knife can be identified according to the food to be handled by adapting the supplied small caps of different colors. This allows better hygiene control for the consumer, according to the latest European standards.
The "Ice-Plus®" sub-zero heat treatment, which is applied to the Colour-Prof series, consists of cooling the stainless steel to -80°C in order to improve its structure by removing the low percentage of residual austenite at the end of the hardening process. The resulting steel structure gives the knife special properties of resistance to both impact and wear.
