The Prehistoric Silex set with cutting board, fork and knife is a high design project studied by Comas in collaboration with the Universitat de Barcelona.
COMAS PREHISTORIC SILEX SET: GENESIS
Silex-literally flint-was born from an idea of table service that goes back to the origins of humanity, inspired by the earliest finds of prehistoric hunter man. This Comas signature set consists of three not just any but 'ancestral' products, inspired by the shapes of the first utensils created by our ancestors, with the aim of recovering the importance that cutlery has had as a symbol of progress throughout History.
PREHISTORIC SILEX COMAS SET: FEATURES
The cutting board is profiled in fact by a series of figures found in caves, real cave paintings. The satin-finished stainless steel fork and knife, on the other hand, have no handle, to be as close as possible to the patterns that cavemen made themselves for hunting.
The two tools can be arranged on the bottom of the cutting board for easy removal from two sockets for quick and easy use and storage.
