BLACK PVD: WHY CHOOSE IT What does it mean that the spring is coated with black pvd?
PVD is a method for coating materials, particularly chosen for its very strong adhesion.
It is layered through a thin film, the thickness of which is around one micron or less.
This treatment allows the application of an infinitesimal but very hard layer on the product to be coated, in order to obtain a series of characteristics, such as resistance to abrasion due to hardness; inalterability to UV rays; resistance to solvents and corrosion; striking coloring, in this case from the gunmetal black shade; and finally the characteristic of hypoallergenicity and resistance to sweat. Finally, it should be mentioned that the entire PVD process is eco-friendly: no pollutants or toxic residues that could poison the planet are produced in any way during processing. The PVD process is safe, clean and eco-friendly: what more could you ask for?
