THE STORY.
Arcos Hermanos S.A. is considered the first Spanish cutlery company and the one with the greatest international projection in the world.
The first piece produced by the Arcos company in 1734 was the scissors, created by Juan de Arcos and currently housed in the Museum of Cutlery in Albacete. That relic was donated by the owners of Arcos Hermanos who wanted to show the beauty of this piece to the entire public.
The engraving on one of the blades reads 'Albacete 1734' and shows the company's long career.
In the National Archaeological Museum in Madrid are other desk scissors, made by Juan de Arcos Gallardo, dating from 1745 and 1746. They constitute another unique piece of Arcos' history.
This family business, whose products have ranked at the top of the world cutlery market, is very proud of its trajectory and of having transcended borders to become what it is today: a leading cutlery company and constantly growing. Nearly 3 centuries of work and recognition place Arcos on the highest rungs of the market and give it a special trust from its customers, which is growing all the time.
