The "Cascina Pizzavacca" farm, which has always been owned by the Pisaroni family, carries on the family traditions that have been enhancing the typical products of these lands for generations.
The Pizzavacca Farm is located in Soarza di Villanova sull'Arda, a small village of Roman foundation in the province of Piacenza that stands secluded amidst the green countryside rich in orchards and crowned by woods that line the course of the Po River. The farmstead, traces of which can already be found in a 1581 map at the Vatican Gallery, with its grandeur and majesty has always been the image and at the same time the substance of the farm. The high quality of Pisaroni products, confirmed by constant organoleptic checks, owes its success to the absolutely artisanal processing that follows in every detail the ancient recipes of the Bassa Piacentina. In the company's processing workshop, vegetable sauces and pickles, jams and fruit nectars are produced from the raw materials grown in the field.
Even today, as then, the recipes re-proposed by Bruno Pisaroni, the "Chef" of Cascina Pizzavacca, totally exclude the use of preservatives, colorings and other additives, thus offering absolutely natural aromas and flavors.
The one-year shelf life guarantee for all products is the result of high-tech processing methods, which nevertheless recover the ancient and common techniques traditionally used by farming families to maintain the quality of fruits and vegetables throughout the year.
The Catholic University of Piacenza has supported the company in testing the products and validating the processing methods and processes, following the procedures required by the strictest health, relevant and traceability and food safety regulations.
