LIVE WINE 2015, the first International Craft Wine Fair in Milan

-

In collaboration with the historic Vini di Vignaioli-Vins de Vignerons event and the Italian Sommelier Association of Lombardy, LIVE WINE 2015, Milan's first International Artisanal Wine Fair, is being held on Saturday, February 21, Sunday, 22 and Monday, February 23. An event where you can taste all the wines presented by large and small Italian and European winemakers with just the entrance ticket.
After the success of "Wines of Winemakers Milan" in February 2014 at Cascina Cuccagna, the event changes name and space. LIVE WINE 2015 takes place at the Palazzo del Ghiaccio in Via Piranesi,14 and is international in scope, with the participation of winemakers from the most vocated wine regions presenting their wines produced according to nature. In the context of the major events that will characterize the city of Milan in 2015, EXPO in primis, LIVE WINE 2015, is an opportunity open to all to learn about quality artisanal wines. An international review of the best and most authentic territorial productions.
What these winemakers have in common is a respect for the land and the grapes, whose unique characteristics are found in the wine. For this to be possible, no synthetic chemicals are used in the vineyard and no additives are used in the winery. Sulfites, when added, are used in minimal doses. The result is an authentic wine, the ultimate expression of the terroir, the vintage and the work of man.
During LIVE WINE 2015 it is also possible to participate in themed lectures and tastings led by Samuel Cogliati, an Italian-French publisher and popularizer. Tastings are limited and bookable online from February through www.livewine.it/ LIVE WINE 2015 is more than a Salon, it is also LIVE WINE NIGHT.
Three evenings, Friday, Feb. 20, Saturday, Feb. 21 and Sunday, Feb. 22, of themed tastings orchestrated by Dan Lerner in wine shops, restaurants and selected venues around the city, to deepen our knowledge of the wines, terroirs and winemakers present. All events can be viewed from February through the program on the website.
