Our company, RG commercial (R for Raffaella and G for Giorgio), was founded in 1983.
We like to say that we have grown with our customers, because it is true.
STEADY GROWTH
This industry, many years ago, was very different from today, and bar and restaurant equipment was a veritable world of established products that were quite similar to each other.
Today it is one of the most dynamic and evolving sectors worldwide in every respect: materials, forms, uses, with continuous overlapping of techniques and technologies between the drink and food worlds.
We have thus become, year after year, experienced and accredited professionals, and part of our activity is also dedicated to consulting for new openings or assortments for new mise en place and drink lists.
Our best endowment is our passion for our work, which drives us to continuously seek out new products from around the world, which we then transfer to customers through all the sales and communication channels we have opened over the years.
Wewere among the first retailers in the ho.re.ca. sector in Italy to believe in online sales, but we have never stopped giving space and commitment to direct sales through a small but well-established network of salespeople.
On the contrary, it is precisely the attitude of visiting each individual customer to always offer him the best product for his needs that has pushed us to use the web with the same attitude: personalization, care for the individual customer, services increasingly tailored to individual needs.
THE STAGES OF OUR HISTORY
With the relocation of the company headquarters from Fiorenzuola to the small hamlet of Fontana Fredda in the municipality of Cadeo, the company found its own space starting in 1987, an autonomous place to be customized and filled not only with products, but also with content, ideas and initiatives.
Two offices and three rooms dedicated to the showroom begin to feel cramped when the market evolves and RG needs more space to display all its references for catering, bartending, disposables and more. The multiplication of suppliers and products, the need to give visibility to new trends in a market that was becoming more dynamic and diversified, led us to take a major step forward. For this, in 1999, the company inaugurated a new section to expand the warehouse and display for customers.
It was in 2006, however, that Giorgio Negri was able to really see into the future: in fact, that was the year we inaugurated e-commerce, which flanked the direct sales activity. It was hard to believe it then, but he had sensed that a new generation of professionals was frequenting the web and comparing themselves on the web, and so we were certain that they would have no difficulty in learning how to use online for their purchases as well, and we were right.
All this is still not enough. In 2019, RG is restoring the display rooms to give more and more space to the elements of the table, such as glasses and plates, allowing each product to find the right context in which to best express itself.
We want every regular or occasional buyer who visits us online at rgmania.com to perceive that we are not just a "virtual" company, but a reality made up of helpful and competent people ready to provide information and answers to individual needs. Perhaps it is also because of this way of relating to customers that today our e-commerce, which deals with many thousands of references, is certainly one of the most recognizable sites for the sale of horeca products.
Almost five hundred square meters of space in which equipment for the cafeteria, wine, bartending, cookware, disposables, confectionery, cutlery, shelves and racks of glasses, cleaning supplies, professional clothing, china of all sorts, finger food and much more find ample space.
From Monday to Saturday mornings, customers who come directly to our headquarters to place and pick up their orders are accompanied in their choices, counseled and assisted by our welcoming and knowledgeable staff, who can offer careful and qualified advice.
In 2023 we celebrated an impressive 40 years in business, and we still wonder how it was possible to achieve this goal amidst a thousand difficulties.

Among the many initiatives organized by the company, a special space should be dedicated to the Summer Drink&Eat Festival, which for 10 years has offered the latest innovations in the industry, discovering or celebrating many bartenders of international prestige in cocktail preparation competitions that are always innovative and original. In addition, RG participates as a partner in several important events in the industry and organizes training, demonstration and in-depth events on the most innovative equipment at its headquarters.
