LODGES: MAINTENANCE AND HEAT TREATMENT
For places that want to stand out, as well as domestic settings, the patented heat treatment process inhibits rust from forming. Made in the U.S.A., the Lodge mini round pyrex dish is to be hand-washed and dried even before first use. Rubbing it with a light coat of vegetable oil after each wash is recommended, enough to restore its luster and keep the cast iron protected from moisture.

PRODUCT CARE.
WASHING: Wash cast iron cookware by hand. A small amount of soap may be used.
If necessary, use a scraper. For stubborn residue, boil some water for 3-5 minutes, then use the scraper after the pot has cooled.
DRYING: Dry promptly and thoroughly with a lint-free cloth or paper towel.
If you notice a small black residue on the towel, it is perfectly normal.
CARE: Rub a very light layer of cooking oil on the surface of the pans.
Use a paper towel to wipe the surface until no more oil residue remains.
If there is any rust on the product, it should be treated with steel wool, rinsed, dried and rubbed with a little oil.
