HEAT TREATMENT AND MAINTENANCE MADE IN LODGE
Ideal for venues that want to stand out but also suitable for domestic settings, the patented heat treatment process inhibits rust formation. Made in the U.S.A., the Lodge oval mini pyrex dish is to be hand-washed and dried even before first use. It is recommended that it be rubbed with a light coat of vegetable oil after each wash, enough to restore its luster, so as to keep the cast iron as protected from moisture as possible.

PRODUCT CARE.
WASHING: Wash cast iron cookware by hand. A small amount of soap may be used.
If necessary, use a scraper. For stubborn residue, boil some water for 3-5 minutes, then use the scraper after the pot has cooled.
DRYING: Dry promptly and thoroughly with a lint-free cloth or paper towel.
If you notice a small black residue on the towel, it is perfectly normal.
CARE: Rub a very light layer of cooking oil on the surface of the pans.
Use a paper towel to wipe the surface until no more oil residue remains.
If there is any rust on the product, it should be treated with steel wool, rinsed, dried and rubbed with a little oil.
