ROMAN XL 100% CHEF MARBLE PLATE: USE
Each of these tile-shaped trays is a unique piece, a feature that makes them inimitable: the color depends on the natural characteristics of the materials, so it can vary slightly in hue, and being handcrafted from natural stones their size can vary up to about 30 percent; however, they are all carved from the exclusive Macael marble.ROMAN XL 100% CHEF MARBLE PLATE: FEATURES
100% Chef products in Macael marble are crafted by expert artisans whose know-how and experience make them true works of art.Macael is the most famous Spanish marble; quarried in the locality of the same name, located in Almeria, this marble is calcite, with coarse grain and homogeneous appearance, and alternating white and gray tones in the form of glazes.
ROMAN PLATE XL 100% CHEF MARBLE: FIRST USE
Since this is a natural material that has been quarried, you must first remove any dust that may be on the surface by brushing the plates one by one with a nonmetallic sponge or water and brush. Steel or aluminum sponges or brushes with metal bristles are not recommended, as they may damage the surface.Next, clean with soap and water or detergent and dry; this can be done in the dishwasher.
Once perfectly dry, coat the product with any cooking oil (it is recommended not to use oil previously used for frying).
Take care that the oil is in contact with the surface and edges and is absorbed as much as possible.
It is then necessary to wash the product again, which, once completely dry, can be used regularly again.
ROMAN XL 100% CHEF MARBLE DISH: TREATMENT AND CARE TIPS
It is important to take the utmost care and attention when serving food on marble or stone dishes, especially if they contain ingredients such as vinegar, condiments, tomato sauce and all those that can leave white stains, especially on colored marble.Polished marble is preferable, however, since its polished slabs are more stain-resistant than matte or satin-finished ones.
