USE
The wine bucket, also called seau â glace, has a specific function, that of chilling the bottle when you need to bring it to the right serving temperature. In fact, the thermal shock of the freezer could irreparably alter the quality of the wine. Washing in the dishwasher is not recommended so as not to ruin the brilliance of the material.
DESIGN
With simple but attractive lines, the copper and steel wine bucket, accompanied by a napkin so as to dry the bottle when serving, is also valid as a design object.
THE TEMPERATURE IN THE BUCKET
In the bucket, the presence of water is essential to ensure better conduction of the cold caused by the ice, thus allowing the reduction of time. Usually 10 to 20 minutes are sufficient in this way to bring a wine to its serving temperature. The amount of time and ice to be used depends on the temperature you want to achieve. Usually fill the bucket with ice up to half its volume, completing the filling with water. Then check with a quick-read thermometer the temperature in the bucket and add ice if it needs to be decreased, while you need to add water, or remove ice, if it needs to be increased.
